Spice kit – meat pathia
Pathia is a Parsi dish which could be described as the best of all worlds. A thick gravy, just the right amount of earthiness and heat from Kashmiri chilli powder and the perfect balance of sweet and sour (courtesy of tamarind or citrus). Use bourguigon or slow cook cuts of meat for extra flavour, or steaks or chicken if you don’t have the patience!
The kit includes:
1 x pathia spice mix
1 x pilau rice mix
2 x vegetable curry spices (these change regularly)
1 x raita mix (yoghurt dip)
1 x flatbread recipe
You need to add approximately 800g of beef, lamb, or chicken or vegetables to create a meal for four. Cooking time approximately 35 minutes, unless using stewing beef.
